something like understanding

8:30 AM...

I stitched up a little nine patch this morning, moving away from my static black and white in this year of brown. I like it. It says something more like lightness and darkness. A more natural state of contrast. A gentler difference.

Maybe it's the dream element. "I have a dream..." is a powerful declaration. Dreaming is a state where most often things have fuzzy edges, less harshness, room to interpret difference as sameness. That might be the value of having dream. The potential for expanded vision.
