It is more than a habit.
It is what I/we do.
So we can take a look. Before it disappears.
I really am engaged in this process at the moment. Managing space is so much about dividing it, making it seem smaller, filling places with perhaps things more familiar. Maybe just to make it home. A personal space which distinguishes it from every other place. Home is something more recognizable as place. A way to express what make sense to you. Expect, once again, some changes here... Time for a design mend. I've been using a preset template here for a while now. Because I liked the large format photos and the simplicity. Because it was easier. But it feels less like home, more in trend, less like me in my clutter of scrap and doodle.
So I'll be back to playing with this place soon. Filling space in my own way. In a way, couldn't art just be that? Organizing this infinite void. Making it like home. Inviting folks in for tea and a chat. To see if a conversation might arise. Less about impression, competition, trend...more about loose ends, dusty corners, knick-knacks... truth.
Arranging and rearranging is sort of like a ceremony in a way.
I need the dance now and then.
(As usual, this place may become confusing for a while. Things may appear and disappear and appear again. That's the way it is anyway. Whatever. Same place, new day. )
