I like a lot about this. I like that it wasn't planned and formed while wandering through winter and gathering leftover what ifs. How they all became one thing. I like the base which is a new what if which I will have more to say about later. I like how the figure is nested, like an internal organ, but how it also seems like a wing. I like how the "earth beast" has reappeared. How it has become a constant character in my mind. I like how it could be a self portrait or a universal impression. I like how it looks in process. I like that in the Spirit of Change , I don't have to finish it.
All the while, birds are singing spring tunes. Hence, a square of green. Wandering outside is in order for the next few days.
I will be updating my newsletter over the weekend. What If Diaries begins (finally!) next Friday. Expect a welcome with a link, a user-name and a password on that day if you have already signed up. The What If blog ( sidebar) will become active right around the same time.
I didn't sleep well last night, but I am wide awake.
