Hello. Hope Everyone is well. I have moved the newsletter to the Spirit Cloth Blog, as part of an attempt to simplify my web presence. So if you are subscribed over at Cloth Whispering, you will now find it over here instead. I have also deleted my Twitter account as well as "Linked In". I still post occasionally on Facebook and you can follow this blog there as well, but we'll see about that going forward. Mostly I will be here.
Learning New Things
It has been a warm winter here, already time is being set aside for outdoor activities. Indigo is planted. Lots of it. I am currently enrolled in Glennis's Indigo Workshop and will also be joining India Flint at Long Ridge in August. As you know from following my work, even before it gained so much popularity, indigo has always been a focus. I look forward, as I move into new work, to finally acquire the knowledge needed to dye my own.
The Shop
I've not been concentrating on selling my work, a lot of unfinished cloth is piled up here but it isn't going anywhere. If I do a shop update this month, it will be as usual, with the Full Moon.
Classes
Magic Diaries part 2 is still in progress through June. You can follow along or sign up anytime. Part 1 (the prerequisite) is still on sale at a reduced price. I was pleases to find many folks signing up even after it was recorded last year. Thanks, my little lab rats, for coming along.
My other online classes are still available, as work on your own, with permanent access to class materials, as always. Cloth to Cloth and Contemporary Boro 1 are available separately but have also been packaged at a special price, because they belong together in a way.
Contemporary Boro #2 is again available in the shop, I have opened the enrollment because of so many nice email requests...the more the merrier I guess...it begins April 28th. Access to the class and forum will be granted mid April. User names and passwords are being sent out with order confirmations. There will be a link to the class site on the blog under links for student access when it is up and running.
Spirit Cloth Diaries (meant to be a continuation of the Diaries format) and all other new classes have been cancelled and removed from the shop for now, due to unsure travel plans, and unsureness in general.
There is always a link to online class information in my top menu bar.
The Magic Feather Project
I am still looking at all the feathers and a few have floated in a bit late. I expect to be working on the first cloth in a big way starting in March. I will be blogging about my progress. Feel free to join in the conversation and make suggestions. If you are not familiar there is a link in the sidebar.
