This piece, continued from here, is stilldeveloping. I have lost track of time really. But it is always the same moon, just a different point of view. It slowly changes. With my mood. I also began a piece I will call Flower moon.
I've been doing that. Focusing on one moon at a time. What if I just worked on one piece and layered one moon over another? Make it all one thing. Maybe. Maybe next year. I am sure I will still be weaving across moons by then. And losing track of time. ( this piece has developed a bit since this post)
Thank goodness for season.
I am going outside on this first day of May to plant some more reminders.
Sanity is a series of unclutterings. Which (today I realize) rhymes with flutterings. These pieces will be mixed in with some-other-things (which doesn't rhyme but it sounds good here as well ). Today is the kind of day where confusion doesn't matter. Just a lot more things to notice. And play with.
I will be offering a new series called What If ? soon. I will talk more about that any day now.
I might just make a series of these. Eyes of storms. Because there are so many visions forming. Or Re-Forming. Yes. That will help me. When you give something eyes, you give it an identity. It looks back. And then you can respect it. And then understanding is possible. The eye of a storm is like a ring of vision. I hadn't looked at it that way. Before.
There are many ways. To weave across moons. I am trying to find out just how many. And according to current calculations, and my journal, 162, mostly still in the What if (?) form.... And probably more. This one is half woven, an old piece from cloth to cloth, that transformed over time after traveling many moons to find a bit more space.... and not "there" yet. This new occupation with space and wing... has me considering the scale of my work in a new way. A Big way.
I am calling this one Half Woven in Space. I feel a bit like that lately, actually maybe a bit less than half.
Speaking of many moons, the Magic Feather Cloth has been in process for a while now, and I am going to give its own special space. Space to be, to stretch out. Unfold. Working on that.
Yesterday I found someone on facebook, using a photo of my cloth as a banner for their page. I couldn't get an answer in terms of why.
