what if#101: cqr block 2

Seams_embellished_with_fabric sometimes the best way out of the same old same old is to read directions and not follow them, or follow them by choosing an opposite or a related alternative. so the directions said place your first fabric scrap on the foundation right side up. so i said to myself, what if i place it upside down? easy enough, all the fabrics on this block are prints, the back side. it gives a nice vintage faded feel i think. and then it said, all seams should be embellished with embroidery stitches. so i went with (what if ?) all seams should be decorated with couched rag strips. like this.
7" square and still a few question left. more photos here.
