what if #26: crayon rubbing

Sunflower_inspiration this little brass top, that inspiration for sunflower design, was so kindly turned in to a what if by the inspiring Uschi at Papierwelt  .

and this morning i woke to the idea if exploring the print idea that she suggested, by using crayon rubbing. i certainly wanted to protect this heirloom from harm .

Crayon_rubbing...and so i stretched fabric tightly over the top and rubbed the flat end of a black crayon over the surface. and then i added a bit of orange. delightful results. i will try a few more.
to be continued....and now part of sunflower corner.
