music makes shapes in my head when i listen. it isn't just sound. and so i have chosen some form of a appliqué word balloon with embroidered lyrics to illustrate the gypsy lion songs. and the balloons will be embellished so they take on some ancient shapes or motifs. i am imagining a paisley, a lute maybe and perhaps a moon, yes, a moon. and that strange spinning tablet, well that will be another kind of performance all together.
the commute is peak hour this week so no working on any large projects will be practical. i'm sticking with little faces.
