...i am planning from yesterday's journal page, quickly applying appliqué lions to garden's edge. its been more than a year since i started this quilt. walter has changed and so the story is changing. these lions will be camouflaged to fit into the fall garden with out arousing attention. like ghosts. incognito. disguised. halloween is upon us. and to everything there is a season.
chapter five is brewing. the crossroads......
i have chosen the back of a linen print here for the first lion body, i want the figures to fade into the garden surrounding, inspired by my last what-if that experimented with the back of the fabric. he wears a seasonal blanket of autumn and needs many more details.
