stitching a hairdo

the third lion in the group is starting to develop an  attitude.  i am hooked on both dots and this jaspe thread at the moment. and i am thinking of using both themes to tie this whole thing  together.   the twisted black and white thread is a much needed shortcut to my regular magic stitch...quicker and also kinda imperfectly ordered. (in line with  my most recent desire for a limited amount of order)  the manes on the lions have started to be a big part of their stories.  i'm listening.
