.....i have joined the memory strips together, with some basic embellishment. the rest of the details come later. since the theme here has to do with mind games, i am playing with the checkerboard design. the little red patch is embroidered , counted thread...to look woven. i like the effect and will expand on it some other time.
.....i was after a game board design...and would have made this square but i decided to mount it on a double layer of old linen napkins. i needed to keep the piece smaller than planned to keep an even border.
i left one row off. i have begun quilting.
