...in order to continue participating in sharon's TIF challenge, i have decided to incorporate the concepts into current gift projects. i feel this will give me the opportunity to impart freshness and new discovery into gifting and use my time well. i like the idea of the challenge because it has given me some external ideas and deadlines to work against, instead of my own.
this month it is noticing details. to me this means slowing down. smelling the roses. breathing deeply. being there. i make a habit of this in general, but i have decided to take it further. i will try some thing more detailed and slower than before, and reveal what i notice about that. i have picked this one...quilting these 2 trees in no time to a gauze filler and a vintage sateen backing .. with tiny stitches. one strand, tiny needle. i have already noticed how easily the needle slides through 3 layers of ancient fabric. it yields. yet it is becoming strong.
and while i'm at it....what if i add a tiny lion?
and there is always a lot of noticing going on here....
