the quilt as a puzzle

....it seems this new skitch-skatch method is a big part of my future working method. i have added a new category for it.
it is like piecing a puzzle from teeny weeny pieces. today i am thinking of organizing my snippet and thread end stash into some form of a palette so i can get a better view of all the fabric details at my disposal and focus on their recycling.  i may have a use for my threadcrumbs blog as a personal scrap search library. that might work for me. it will also be a way for me to share each fabric's story. as a side note, my son has recycled his discarded yet amazing scanner as a gift for me and i am excited that i may be able to document these fabrics with better quality images.
