scandinavian design

 i have always loved scandinavian design, especially the embroidery from sweden. it is simple and naive in character. i always notice though that there is less internet resource in terms of images, etc.
a while back i received an old swedish embroidery book from a friend. i enlarged and used this horse pattern in a baby quilt border because i fell in love with it.
i have scanned one page here because it is just filled with ideas and great motifs, i can't read the book because it is in swedish (printed in 1948). i am not even sure what the title means. maybe someone out there can tell me??? being that i have more time now i am starting to post details of this and other resources here. and i hope i can add patterns and all kinds of things.
