i carried the dots on sheer from here to here for the ivy leaf on the stepping stones piece... which quietly carried the motif into the outer border. now this has me thinking about how thoughts too are stepping stones... i am thinking about paths again as connectors of opportunity. and so i pulled out that other pathway piece that was leading nowhere for a while now.
with a bit of green backing and one stepping stone added to the corner...
....i was on my way again. the two pieces have touched and immediately bonded. i will continue by working on these side by side. funny how continuing takes such a small action. stopping to notice where you are. and then asking where you want to go next. just like walking. how can something so simple get so confusing? i think getting back to what-iffing has been a good move for me. smaller slower steps. more pausing and noticing.
