starting a fire is easy. keeping it going is another story. like anything else it takes a certain skill, patience and persistence. but a good fire burns slow and is far reaching.
the reward might simply be a warm chair and a chance to enjoy the view.
and maybe a little extra time to think things through.
i have been playing around over at what if with a new technique. it was on my mind all night. it has sparked my interest enough to make me feel that it will be, in some way, very key to the process of my new cloth.
i like how it plays games with my vision when i try to take a picture. and i especially like the way the texture overtakes the color when the light hits it from an angle and makes the color disappear in a way. and i like very much how it redefines patchwork as a process. and so i think it is time to begin magic. my cloth for 2010...that is if i can keep the fire burning.
