The Cloth to Cloth Workshop (the basics of quilt weaving) has been such a joy! So many enthusiastic students, I cannot believe the level of participation and the wonderful work being created. (above just a sampling)
With just a week to go, I am finally putting the names in that hat as i finish up the little giveaway piece i produced during class...I have named it Magic in the Air, to celebrate exactly that!
I have really enjoyed my first adventure in online teaching, and I am so ready for the Spirit Cloth Workshop that starts on the 15th. The Patchwork Beast class is on sale until june 15 and is already quite full. After that my exact plans are a bit unformulated. I will be running another Spirit Cloth Workshop but no date has been set yet.
A lot of work has been going into my new project Spirit Cloth Language, which has been in process for quite a while (years!) and will be available later this year. I think it will be something quite unusually special. I'm not getting any younger and it is time to share all i can. I also have a new idea for the online format of teaching so i will think about that more before I schedule any new workshops. The video thing is quite work intensive and I must thank the MAN again for all his support in making this possible. He is my favorite keeper.
Today i will relax with the magic cloth, maybe stitch a bit outside. it is hot in the house and although the humidity is uncomfortable, at least things are growing and there is a gentle breeze blowing.
