Morning. Sunny. Cold. I could feel it through the glass.
At least I got outside in the garden yesterday. Straightening up a bit... harvesting the rags used to tie up the vegetable plants this past summer. Some were quite weathered. I took the time to wash them and untie the knots which is not always easy. The sun, heat and moisture wear some of these little cloth strips in interesting ways and the knots sometimes act as a resist... I want to weave a little something with these. A reminder of what a great garden it was this year. And look what I found. I love how the threads have just melted in spots.
And on this cold November morning, I hung this winter cloth on the window so it could absorb the new chill. So I might continue.
