we felt the rumblings of an earthquake today. it was only the second time i felt something like that. one other time in Turkey, all the ants came out of the ground and started running around in circles.
in the winter i put all the carpets in the studio, sort of patchwork style and layered. because the floor is very cold. autumn seems to be moving in quickly. today was a good day to clean and ready them. and they even got an extra shake or two.
it was actually quite weird, this quake thing... here of all places...
and i have been dreaming of weaving a carpet.
