Baby oak leaves are fuzzy. 

It is hard to believe they are not cloth. 

I know they are leaves and I am still not convinced.

I've switched my monthlyy Newsletter to " just news ".  I'll update it once in a while... when things change.  It'll be ,  as it has been,  in the top menu bar.  I'm rather busy  right now, so I might not be surfing around much.  See you later.

Earth Math

Sleep came.   And this morning, a sense of order has taken hold.   The natural order of nine has come to the little Earth Kantha, a study for a larger cloth.   A new logic has been planted ,  this little cloth is its safe-keeper...and I know something  will grow .  Strong and healthy.   Food for my soul.  

I'll be wordless for a while.   

A busy time while a  few things fall into place.

Early planting moon

Today, after sleeplessness, I border on wordlessness.  But it hasn't come yet.  How tired I am.  It is like my body's entire weight has shifted to the back of my eyeballs.  Last night I mended an April moon into a May moon,  because the season has shifted so.   And I was thinking about that.  In the natural order of things, a shift creates new form.

Life and death on Monday

It rained a rain of rains last night.  The queen of hostas has risen.

She's a beauty.

I'm thinking I can stitch this death into the Earth Kantha cloth, after all it is a little diary of days in April.  

Which just gave me an idea.   But for now...

There are three new things in the shop.   And many  more on the edge of  being called finished.   But really , they are just tired of being here.

I'll be busy for a few days preparing for and beginning  a new workshop.   Maybe wordless for  a while.

Expanded Vision expanding

I have begun  to move outward, and to distort the frame in sympathy with the original  ring of vision.  With dreams of expanding the cloth to cloth idea.  This could go on forever.  But of course I will never have time.   But then again I can imagine it.   So there you go.   Mend your ideas and they might last forever.

And today I really like this.
