It is interesting how things might line up either with or without intention. I think art might simply be the result of persistent attention. Resulting from arranging things with purpose or noticing how things are arranged and then telling the story of how amazing that is. In any case, you need to keep at it. To realize the shape of persistence.
I am looking at a lot of things here. Hanging around. And liking them for new reasons.
Which will , no doubt, start moving through them. Changing them. I hope so.
Because I thrive on that.
I've decided to retire this year. That is, to officially apply for Social Security and another small pension. Hardly enough to live here but certainly enough to live somewhere else. And that will happen when it can. The Somewhere Else. I know this will bring many changes. Then again, nothing changed my creative work more than having to sell it. Let's see shall we? Let's see....
The orange moon is one of my first attempts to dye with Madder. I hope to get red. Sooner or later. I'll keep at it.
I have been working to update my newsletter, but I simply don't feel like it at the moment. I will try again tomorrow.
