And so we move toward winter.
Yesterday there were leaves on the trees. Leaves on the ground. Leaves in the air. There was even the smell of leaves in the air. Today we will move more toward leaves on the ground.
And today I consider changes that will make winter, in some ways, more comfortable than the last one. I say hello to November which will bring VERY BIG wind and rain later today into tomorrow. I say hello to November which will bring cold after that. I will update my Newsletter and move the leaves that fell last night away from the drains. Maybe make soup. And if the rain last too long, maybe I will rearrange the furniture.
Tomorrow I will be stitching leaves for a fall sampler that needs to get going before winter takes hold. This morning I stitched up a little patch of snow. Just in case. I have learned to UnDo expectation over the years. Especially when it comes to weather.
