I finished playing with the little magic dot path fragment. (which made me think of islands in the stream)
And as it happened, one thing led to another.
The original magic dots are applique. With a magic thread border. Or a wrapped back stitch if there is none of that. I left one empty because I like it that way but also because I do it that way. The border first and then I use that as a line guide to applique the cloth inside of. I have a video somewhere, I'll find it tomorrow.
But then I thought, hey!, those little dyed dots could work with just the border added...so I tried that, and while looking for more I bumped into little sun stitched around one of those dots. And as a result I started another sun with the magic border as well. We'll need a little sun tomorrow so all is well.
A day is really a path between yesterday and tomorrow.
