Yesterday was a big weather day.
All day. First big wind. We heard that the road out was blocked by a big tree. We didn't check.
It was a pajama day.
And it was a dyeing day. In the spirit of the season. All day, slowly, a dot at a time. Till the vat got tired. A scrap can be like a dot for a dot might be any relatively little thing. I pinned a cloth over the Lion Quilt and then pinned the dyed components to dry. Because I ran out of tacks.
We ended up with a lot of water in the garage, around midnight. Had to clear the leaves from the drain outside and then mop the water. I did not take a photo because it wasn't pretty.
This morning, Lo and Behold!
Yesterday's Dance of the Dyed Dot has spilled over!
