Turns out it is 1/2". I once made a quilt with 1/2" squares.

This is not a template for a patchwork square. This is a paper pattern, for size, for play, for a stitched nine which you might have noticed in my work . A lot. It is very much at the center of my pattern holding.
It's a loose drawn patch. Free. Who knows where else it might land? Be held.
