Hey.
I can say that July was the fastest and slowest month I ever remember.
Or maybe I have lost all sense of time. And place.
I'm detached. I am here. But no longer home. Maybe it was just a necessary step. Making space for the new. Even if it is unknown. Making a place to hold it.
Soul-o has a cat mat. It's a doorbell thing. He sits there, it dings, we come and open the door. As long as there is a door and it opens, it's OK. His sense of home is simpler. I can learn from that.
A few things. There is a new post up in Small Cloth today. The Spirit Cloth shop is closed until I relocate but the ThreadCrumbs Shop will remain open, home for all supplies, classes and small works for now. One Place, easier. Going forward, I will be posting on Wednesdays, once a week, for both parts of Patchwork in Perspective. At least until things settle. We found a place with a long drive in and a long view. More land less house. Maybe it will be that one, but still looking.

Enter. The unknown...
Embrace the unknown.
We have no place but we are going.
Things here will be sporadic.
We think having less will make it easier. We are purging.
I will continue with Patchwork in Perspective. To keep me sane. Thank you for your support.
From now through October will be "I don't Know", at least in a more obvious, in your face, kind of I don't know.
Lists help me manage chaos.
There is a new post in Thought Catching class today.
There will be a new post in Small Cloth on Friday. (you can use this link to get there on Friday...)
There will be no class posts in part 1 or 2 next week.
I am moving online class sales for Patchwork in Perspective to the THREADCRUMBS SHOP for now. Part 2 and the Part 1 and 2 Package are still available. Part one by itself is sold out. My brother will help me manage forwarding class access info during these crazy times. It will come as Hey from Jude. So you might recognize it.
I will be closing the Spirit Cloth shop later today, until November.
I am taking a blog break until July 29th. Maybe some pics on Instagram.
It's hotter than hell here but we are still near the sea.
Love

Hard to find it these days.
A place for time.
Drifting in and out of sureness.
But there are ways.
New post up in Small Cloth class today.
I will not be here tomorrow.

Packing.
Even though there's no place to go.
I love these, how they celebrate possibility. And natural order. I could love them forever just like this. The promise of play. A never ending game of what if.
So, let's look at that thing I said, and take another perspective. Packing, because there are a million places to go.

...hasn't materialized.
But it's a start.
It might be helpful to imagine oneself as a puzzle piece while feeling puzzled.

I see patchwork.
Where?
Everywhere.
The dried mud that washed down during the biggest storm ever since we've lived here gave the brickwork a lovely look.
This is a wrapped back stitch. With one strand. Dark. Light. Magic. Finer. More like that Magic Thread. I want to talk about this in SMALL CLOTH class on Friday.
New content in Thought Catching today.
It's hot and humid and I'm fried. Goodnight.
