Nest of Days Goes as the Season

Outside. The ceremony I began so long ago. I hope that link worked. Things are wacky here.

I took the Nest Of Days cloth outside yesterday. For a snow wash and a lot of fresh air. I started it back at the other place and I wanted it to be part of here. 

This morning, 8 degrees, feels like -10. The earth is sleeping now. In its nest of days. And it looks like bigger snow and cold are coming soon. Going to stock up on food and settle in. 

I cannot post my audio or video or get much of anything to work consistently here. It's time to go. That is more easily said than done but I have begun the journey and I will Just Go. This place will be here for a while. I will disable comments which don't work for a lot of folks anyway. Maybe a few photos now and then. But the daily journey with cloth has officially moved to the Blog/Journal segment of Feel Free. Because I would like to continue, at least for now. #1 Nest of Days.

It's been hanging here, other side up, with lots of stuff pinned to it.  I think it is time to make it into a blanket. 

I took it down to turn it over and tacked it back up.

It is 56" square. And I will put a border on it. That can change everything. Or just size. An Edge can be many things. It depends what I have, including energy.

No Sun This Morning

Game Over

I picked a name from the Game of Chance Basket this morning. 

This one I renamed All Mixed Up, I am letting it go, because I don't feel all mixed up anymore. I will just weather the storm. 

This helped.

There will be an internet service guy in the house today. Even though the previous provider miraculously fixed the service they denied was their problem. I don't much like being smeared, tricked or lied to. Switch-a-rooni. Ok. Time to mask up and keep our fingers crossed...

18 degrees. Feels like 3.  Never sure what they mean by that. If it feels like 3, it's 3.

Deepening Winter.

It's cold, we've gone Polar. Looks like below freezing for a week or so. And maybe some snow. The big unstacked wood pile is frozen. An excuse to continue with other things. 

Life became really confusing this last year. Maybe actually just confusing. 

In any case, The Deep Pool of Thought... posts here and here... has become a larger cloth still, simply by giving it a different use. And it could be a blanket too if I keep going.  And I probably will, what else is there? And it's cold.

What's happening with all my internet places? Well, I'm sorting through that. 

I was going to start talking here today but the man is sleeping and the basement is cold and so tomorrow will hopefully be another day.

Higher Ground

Yesterday, among other things, there was a light dusting of snow In the morning.

It was cold and it stayed put, especially on the paths we began mapping out on the hill we cleared outside the kitchen side of the house. We left a fallen tree to use as a sitting place. It is higher and we can have a long view with tea.

This morning, something pink was going on. 

Like a path to even higher still.

Soul-o, my travelling companion, started this game of higher ground last night.

So a longer view is on my mind and Hey Ho. I've new space in my mind for wandering. Sipping tea, I said to my-selves, let's look past the bullshit and make something useful.
