PS- I have been fiddling with the post email publishing time, trying to change it to the morning. So tho you might see this here today if you just stopped by, it will probably come through by email tomorrow morning, hopefully, if I have resolved the issue. So I will skip posting tomorrow and see. 

Mind's Eye

This flower, it almost looks like cloth.  I can enjoy that. That thought works for me.

But not the cat face, now mentioned, in the Heart of Season piece, I did not see it or intend it, now I cannot un-see it. 

I am working on it, but ...

...the power of suggestion is a mighty tricky thing, as we all know. 

I need, at this point, not to be misunderstood. 

Just thinking how much that might be my own fault. 

Anyway, I have some ideas but if I cannot shake it, in my head, (the mind has some rather stubborn eyes) this one will be kindling. It is getting cooler anyway.

I am laughing though.

PS- I used to have control over when my posts would be delivered by email. Not anymore, so I may post early in the morning but who knows (?) when you will be notified.  It's all becoming such a mystery...oh gosh, what if that's the point! Laughing again. 

Yesterday's Progress

I just let him sit there for a while.

I am not in a hurry.

The stem line, just marked with pen, where and as the thread fell. Started stitching but didn't finish. And yes, that's Deb's thread. Waiting.

Change is at the Heart of Season.  I want to name this that. Heart of Season. I thought how oddly we attach ourselves to the expected outcome and that it is probably just a slow repeating shift toward the unrecognizable. If we only lived long enough. 

PS. I will remove the PlaceKeeper from the top blog menu, it is way outdated. Let me rethink that.

Meet the Day

Meet the Day, that my friends is my only plan. From here on in.

This cloth, below,  hangs where I can see it as I go to make coffee.  It was a cloth that helped me be here in my new, but not really new anymore place.  I still need it as a reminder to be just present.  And how big that can become.

And then this. The cloth-woven leaf. Some of you may remember Small Journeys. An older class(?) Series. I feel that way.

That this blog will just be that. Let me try...

I like this shaped weaving and I am happy to bring it into the day for considering.

And the season emerged more clearly this morning. It rained in the very early morning. The resident Barred Owl sang...And coolness came. 

The Deep Breath

Just here, because it is so easy really, to be who i am.

 

It is almost September and

I feel the calm

And the comfort in my own limitations. 

Like a change in season

Brings new form.

So. Here I am.

There are many reasons for this change. But not as many as there were for leaving. The biggest one was my inability to easily put media here, which has not changed.

And then what if confusion is a form of clarity?

I am here because I am confused. Became confused. I guess that is clear enough for now.

Things:

I left here awhile ago for technical reasons. I went here. Some of you may not have found me there. 

The service that delivers these posts by email no longer accepts new subscribers. But it seems, at least for now, if you remained subscribed, you will continue to receive these posts by email. I cannot add anyone to the list at this point. 

I will now continue, openly, blogging here. If you are subscribed at Feel Free, you will no longer be receiving updates for the blog. The story is here.  I will resume links to blog updates on Facebook. 

Some may not be able to comment. You might try changing browsers. It is what it will be. 

Media will be difficult. A lot more work. Audio is my concern since I love to talk to you. I was out weeding the garden this morning. Knowing that old fashioned weeding is considered backbreaking work and there are so many ways we try to make it easier.  But I said to myself...back breaking work is also back building work.  So I will keep at it. Become stronger. Not lazier. Which is trending these days.

I will take a few days away. Gather myself. Selves.

The service that delivered my posts by email has stopped offering email delivery and I don't plan to pay for another one. 

I haven't decided how I will use this place. Maybe my posts will be private. 

I put the globe tracker back, from scratch so I might know if anyone comes here anymore. My guess is mostly not. But green dots might prove me wrong.

I am still blogging over here for now, since I moved a while ago.

Nothing stands still for for long in my world. We'll see.
