All of it is very complicated but then very simple.
I've placed this little place that I love in a place. Thinking about that. How places are nested. How can place really be defined? By your heart ultimately which is your center of the universe. That is not a selfish thing. It is a big responsibility.

Really key to how I work. This invisible baste.
I was really whispering this time, almost forgot I was talking to you. I was caught by the shadow of the screen on the cloth.

I use up a lot of small thread ends in this process.
I made 2 of these and decided i liked this one better. I offered it up over at Threadcrumbs but before I could mention it here it was gone. I think sharing this was a way to share the feel. The sense of the stitch, the layering. The Oneness. The Living-ness.
I have begun to fill in what's missing at Feel Free. To better build the library. I have created another new page. STITCH - Invisible Baste aka Glue Stitch. Here I can collect many of the associated videos over the years. As well as organize my thoughts about this technique. Even though a lot of my videos are part of classes, I will be indexing them separately by technique. Easier to reference I think. Even for me.
And now, if I may, take a quiet weekend away to mull over space as it pertains to SunMoonStars. And all else.

Today is post office day.
It's dark and sunless and I feel feel like following Soul-o's lead.
But there's things to do, so off I go.
I plan to put together a blog list (oops there it is already! →) for those who might be following along with SunMoonStars. I will put it in the sidebar here while we are time traveling. So you might get to know one another. The list is for those who have blogs where they might be posting related materials to my posting, maybe showing stuff they might be working on. Or sharing thoughts. With SunMoonStars focus. It need not be cloth, just part of the conversation. You can email me with the link if you think it is appropriate to be on the list... Please feel free also,to add links to any posts on your side while commenting in the conversation here. But let's keep it relative to what's going on so we might inspire each other.
I unrolled a few things this morning that are still here, from the original class. It will be fun to show how they have changed and perhaps continue with them...
as well as begin a few new projects.
My intention is to continue to try to provide scrap packs and a few things for you to work with as I go, a way for you to get started and maybe make a little sampler your yourself, especially if this is the first time around for you. Don't worry about copying. It's a good way to start. The link to the ThreadCrumbs shop is now also up top as well. The Threadcrumbs blog will be incorporated here eventually as something I might tag ClothStories. I made an info page to explain the motivation behind this new shop.
See you tomorrow Friday (more things to do than I thought), I'll test some video.

Just to show... This one has been developing, slowly, behind the scenes. Moons of course, are, on my mind.
Just to say, I have put a small resource and supplier list in the right sidebar, it will be updated but it's there. That's where it will be, as we go.
Just added to the list, a place to shelter a few small Offerings. Please read the shop info now and then, which may change from time to time.
Chores to do, so a bit of a break.

Nothing much has changed really.
Just caught in between.
Waiting for what is expected.
Probably there will be some of that. And some other stuff.
As expected, I did stitch a bit. On the House of Stray. 9 Magic seeds in the garden and some love of land, an acorn and some work on the roof. To keep it over their heads for one more season.
The shop is back in the sidebar. That regular old Big Cartel shop. Let's do that.
Things are piling up here. Again. The shop is there. With plans to clear what's here. To finish stuff. To Undo the clutter on the shelves. The plan is to update with the New Moon and the Full Moon. If there is anything to be posted. There will be little stuff, big Stuff, materials and such. New stuff as well, I guess,as it happens, because I will never stop going.
I am selling to fund Feel Free. And, honestly, to make a few loose ends meet. For now.
Please note, three things,.
1.On occasion, especially this month, while I reconfigure a lot of things including payment methods, the Feel Free site, having to be here and there....,orders will be processed through EXOT, that's my brother. Don't worry, it's still a Spirit Cloth order.
2. On items marked Coming Soon... feel free to inquire.
3. Please read my ShopTalk on the shop page occasionally. Because my policies will change as needed. Like for now, this moth, I am only shipping within the USA.

Here.
Looking for a Home Rescued (sold) Thank you!
I'm done.
Done with the sidebar gallery as well. Give me a day or two to clean that up(never mind, done). I'm not sorry for changing my mind. It's what I do to keep it in shape.
Longer view... it is another in a series of the Stray Cat Character studies I engage in to learn more about myself. So I might share that. So you might know me better. Because Why Not?
6 1/2" x 7. hand stitched, obviously, hand dyed indigo base. Vintage and re-purposed scrap. Linen cotton silk. You might hang it, but it might work well as a mug mat. Hand wash. $55.00. Email me to inquire. Poof.
Good night.
