The class is nearing its end. I've combined Quilting and Binding. The thing about my style is that I have some basic approaches, but I hardly ever do anything the same twice. I have pulled 2 videos from previous workshops, because they clearly express my favorite approaches to both Quilting and Binding.

QUILTING
Quilting is a functional step to connect the layers together and keep things from shifting. I have developed a special approach for embellished quilts that I call Wizard Stitching.
This clip is taken from The Sun MooN Stars Whispering Series. It explains best the reasoning behind my approach.
I use DMC embroidery floss and embroidery needles for quilting as well as embellishing. It can be separated into strands for the desired thickness, comes in so many colors and is softer and easier to quilt with. And it is very strong and wears well, cutting less into the cloth as it wears. It is color fast.
BINDING
Again, my approach here is quite simple. I call it the Hug. This clip was taken from the Contemporary Boro #1 class, and explains my simple and favorite approach to an edge.
I will be elaborating on quilting, backing and binding as I keep going on my cloths.
