I am following your videos with great delight Jude, having just found them and viewed them in one delicious swoop! Do you plan to stitch Magic differently than the basting you discuss, or just more densely? You said you will make it functional, and I am always balancing that with my desire for the organic, fraying edges and larger stitches I love. I just wondered...

hi kim, thanks... i plan to quilt this piece a bit differently, yes, more like a kantha stitch. but i have so far to go on it. i do want his one to be machine washable. i have a lot of layers of stitching to do to achieve that.
