So I stitched another " rainbow" nine patch. At this point I am just working with what I have. (a lot of what I have has been collected over the years and personalized with dye, more about that soon) I changed the selection of colors slightly , staying with the same mindset. It is interesting how color touching color is so different than spacing it out. A whole other kind of concentration. A whole other set of choices.
So looking at color touching color....

I also started stitching on sampler #1. I think that I want to reinforce for myself, how these little experiments, what-ifs, are no less significant as works than other things I might seem to give meaning to. It has always been that way.
Notes to self:
Color can be it's own story.
When two similar color fields overlap they reinforce each other.
Working in a series might just be diagramming a learning curve.
If a diagram is a story, what if my story cloths are diagrams? In a way.
