What is a corner?
I was going to talk more here, but no, I will hold off. I am also thinking I might piece 4 squares, make a meeting place of 4 colors, and then do a circle resist over it. To transform the meeting place into little bits of color. And maybe this idea will work with other shapes. But meeting place is a strong idea. Many beginnings have taken root. Because it is an idea. Clearly imagined as a way to something.
Continuing with resist and meeting points....
So, this idea, the magnet resist works best with what is called super magnets, those made of neodymium. They are simply so much stronger than regular old magnets, which do not give you as clean a resist. but hey, that could be ok too.....
And if you have enough of them, I suppose you can place them here and there about the cloth, less hassel than many clamps and esier to fit into a smaller dye container.
I don't know why this never occurred red to me before, Man and Magnet are really always out in front of me here. Guess it was just my current focus on resist and using what's around.
I think this was very clever if I do say so myself.
