Welcome to my first Mini Whispering Series. Thank you so much for joining me and for making this possible. This series is about HEART...just me....investigating the design and as well as the concept and then developing the techniques necessary to get my ideas on cloth. I thought you might be interested in looking over my shoulder. Maybe I might inspire you to do the same, to take a little journey of your own. I thought I would just start somewhere and continue in front of you, out in the open and share my process. Day after day. Whatever that turns out to be. And believe me when I say, I have no idea. Ha!
I designed the mini series format to be loaded day by day. So you might follow along real time or or drop in anytime and see how far I have come in my journey. The Mini Whispering Series was 2 weeks of intense focus on a subject, spread out over 4 weeks of posting to allow me time in between to work and upload the videos, etc. I expected to start out slowly and then get rolling. Or fall flat on my face :-) This is not scripted in any way. I shared my thoughts in both audio and video format as well as all the design sketches and ideas/ what-iffings that happened in the course of the class (made available in PDF). You are free to copy or interpret any of these ideas in your work. I really hope that I can inspire you to try some ideas here and that this might help you on your way to creating your own path.
