This is another view. From behind but not too far back. Under the porch you can see the basement, which is mostly above ground. Wood can get stored under there. It doesn't get wet. But the shower is leaking into the basement. We will try to fix that before considering a door to the outside on ground level.
The old raised bed is soft enough to dig in. And it is a square! I dug a hole yesterday. Spread some new compost.
You can see another home off to the left there. There are neighbors. I should go say hello.

There's a river running through here but it is under us. If I walk to the very tip of the property , the deer's path, I will get a glimpse of where it rises to the surface. Gonna get me some good high boots first.
